Hello, I am planning a road trip in August from Orlando to Boston, and wanted to know if you all had some tips?
A buddy of mine and I are going to Boston at the end of summer but wanted to make a road trip out of it. We have about 7 days in total, but we don’t want to spend too much time in one city. We’d were thinking of hitting more sightseeing places and then move on. However, we are also contemplating on on visiting less places and spending more time.
We are willing to go out of our way, so we don’t necessarily intend to stay near the coast, in order to see some things. We’d probably go as far west as Nashville, as that’s one of the stops that we are considering.
However, I wanted to ask if you all know of some places that we should check out while making our trip up there.
Some of the cities we’ve thought about stopping by in are Savannah (Georgia), Nashville (Tennessee), Washington DC, Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), New York (NY), and then Boston (Mass.)
However, we are completely in favor of switching out a city or location, to visit something (such as going to explore caves near a smaller town and skip a larger city).
I do plan on researching somethings for myself, but I’d love to get your input on things if any of you have traveled though the western US.
