Need help with itinerary PNW loop: Seattle, Portand, GTNP, Yellowstone

I am tentatively planning a solo road trip August 13-23. I have sketched out an itinerary that I think may be TOO aggressive for the time provided and I am looking for critiques, suggestions and alternatives. I have never visited the PNW, mid 30f, somewhat outdoorsy. I have a good 2P tent and plan on camping for parts of the trip and staying in a hotel others. I also plan on throwing an mattress in the back of the SUV in case I get nervous sleeping in bear country. Is that a dumb idea? Also considering a campervan if I can swing it. Love food, wine, and craft beer. Depending on what the virus is doing that may out the window but I would appreciate any recommendations for good breweries etc .

I would be flying from NJ to Portland. Seattle is also an option. Originally I was going to fly into Jackson Hole and then end in Portland but the car rental is double the price one way as opposed to having the same pick/drop off, so I am trying to make it a loop. I am wondering if it may be too much ground to cover. I could add up to 2 more days to the itinerary below if it makes the trip more palatable. I am also open to the possibility of either 1. just doing Seattle/Portland area OR 2. GTNP/Yellowstone (fly in and out of Jackson) and not making it a giant loop. Please let me know your thoughts!!

Day 1: Arrive Portland 10PM, hotel, sleep

Day 2: Up early. Drive 84 E explore Hood/Snake river area along the way (any suggestions of things to see on this leg?). Stop overnight, probably Ontario.

Day 3: Up early haul ass to Jackson. Explore town and surrounding area.

Day 4: Drive north into GTNP, camp at Coulter Bay, explore GTNP.

Day 5: Drive north, explore Yellowstone, camp somewhere central like Canyon?

Day 6: Drive north, see more of Yellowstone camp somewhere around Mammouth? Or would it be better to camp in same place 2 nights?

Day 7: Head north check out the Badlands, Stop halfway maybe Missoula or Spokane?

Day 8: Continue on 90 towards Seattle (anything to see along the way?) Arrive in Seattle by nightfall.

Day 9: Explore Seattle area

Day 10: Drive towards Portland, check out Rainier and Mt St Helens. Arrive Portland by nightfall.

Day 11: Explore Portland, flight at 10pm fly home
